Joshua Ridley Master Goldsmith
With over 25 years of experience in London's prestigious jewellery trade, Josh has honed his craft from apprentice silversmith to master jeweller, working with world-renowned names such as Graff Diamonds, Boodles, De Beers, Moussaieff, and more. His journey began in 1991 as a silversmith's apprentice after studying art at college in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. He then expanded his expertise in Corfu, Greece, mastering goldsmithing in the heart of Old Corfu Town. Upon returning to London, he trained in handmade diamond mounting and stone setting at The John Cass School of Design before refining his skills in Hatton Garden—the city's historic jewellery district—and then in the West End of London.
Throughout his career, Josh has specialised in high-end jewellery, crafting exquisite pieces for international luxury houses. In response to the challenges of the Covid lockdown, he built a dedicated workshop in High Barnet, where he continues to bring bespoke creations to life. From one-of-a-kind commissions to expert repairs, he offers access to a range of precious gemstones, including natural and lab-grown diamonds, rubies, and sapphires. Jewellery is more than an art for Josh—it’s a legacy, and he takes pride in creating pieces that carry stories, craftsmanship, and beauty for generations to come.
